The delegation includes representatives from renowned Dutch biotech companies, academic institutions, and research institutes.<\/p>\n<p>During this journey two of the world\u2019s major hubs for organ-on-chip and organoid models will be visited. This mission is more urgent than ever: following the enactment of the U.S. FDA Modernization Act 2.0, regulators, industry leaders, and researchers are increasingly focusing on animal-free innovations\u2014known as New Approach Methodologies (NAMs)\u2014to evaluate the safety and efficacy of new therapies. <em>FDA Modernization Act 2.0<\/em> richten toezichthouders, marktleiders en onderzoekers hun pijlen steeds intensiever op proefdiervrije innovaties\/New Approach Methologies (NAMs) om de veiligheid en effectiviteit van nieuwe therapie\u00ebn te evalueren.<\/p>\n<p>Within the Life Sciences &amp; Health sector, the Netherlands is internationally recognized for its innovative biomedical models, extensive expertise in stem cell biology and the development of organoid and organ-on-chip (OoC) systems.
